Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

The 2017 Annual Fraud Indicator, page 22, states 'benefit and tax credits' fraud stands at £2.423 billion.

Please kindly supply your targets for reducing benefit fraud from 2010 onwards. Please kindly list other types of fraud the department investigates besides 'benefit fraud'.

£2.423 billion 'benefit fraud' figure consists of:
Housing benefit fraud, UK, 2016;
Income support, UK, 2014 to 2016;
Jobseekers allowance, UK, 2015 to 2016;
Employment and support allowance, UK, 2015 to 2016;
Universal credit, UK, 2015 to 2016;
Pension credit, UK, 2015 to 2016;
Incapacity benefit, UK, 2010 to 2016;
Disability living allowance, UK, 2005 to 2016;
Carer's allowance, UK, 1997 to 2016;
State pension, UK, 2005 to 2016;
Council taxreduction fraud, UK, 2012 to 2013;
Unreviewed, UK 2015 to 2016;
Tax credits fraud, UK 2015 to 2016.
