Benefit Fraud Prosecutions

The request was successful.

Dear Flintshire Council,

A recent successful prosecution for Housing Benefit Fraud by Robert Blacker appeared in local media.

In the press reports, no mention was made of Mr Blacker having to repay the money he falsely claimed.

Given that the prosecution was successful, does the council intend recovering the money through the civil courts?

Yours faithfully,

Peter Harrison

Flintshire County Council
