Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

I am writing to make a formal request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for information regarding the materials and documents that the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) sends to claimants who are suspected of benefit fraud. Specifically, I am requesting the following information:

Copies of all written materials, documents, brochures, booklets, or leaflets that the DWP sends to individuals who are suspected of benefit fraud. This includes any correspondence, information packs, or guidance materials that outline the investigation process, individual rights, and responsibilities.

Any materials that pertain to legal aid and legal assistance that are provided to claimants who are under investigation for benefit fraud. This includes information about how claimants can access legal aid, what legal services are available, and the rights and options for legal representation during the investigation.

All information, pamphlets, or documents sent to claimants suspected of benefit fraud who are also identified as being at risk of suicide. This should encompass materials that offer support, advice, and contact information for mental health services or crisis intervention resources.

Please provide the requested information in digital format, within the timeframe stipulated by the Freedom of Information Act. If some or all of the requested information cannot be disclosed for legal or other reasons, please provide a clear explanation for the redaction or omission.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to receiving the requested information within the legally specified timeframe.

Yours faithfully,
