Dear Belfast City Council,
Belfast City Council sports pitches and charging. Under the Freedom Of Information Act can you please provide answers to the following questions in relation to the Councils Sports facilities and Pitches from 1st April 2008 to date:
1) Please provide a complete list of all Council sports sites / grass pitches with a Partner Agreement in place, the name of the partner the agreement is with (i.e. team/club), the date the partner agreement was entered into and any charges agreed.
2) Please provide a complete list of all Council owned sites where a named team has Preferential Use of the facility site/pitches. i.e. NI Amateur Football League Team requiring use of a pitch deemed as their "Home" ground at short notice due to cup draws etc.
3) Please provide a list of all sports facilities and pitches provided at below normal, market value charges to a team/club/group or those in a Partner Agreement. Please provide full details of location, name of preferential user, and the rate charged whether on an hourly, game, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis etc.
4) Please provide a list of sports facilities and pitches provided free of charge and the names of recipient team/group/club etc.

relation to Belfast City Council sports pitches and charging.
The Council is currently considering your request in accordance with the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 and Data Protection Act 2018 and will
respond to you within 20 working days from receipt of your email dated 30

Act 2018 into account as the information you have requested may contain
personal data relating to other identifiable individuals and their
commercial interests.

In relation to questions 1-3 I can confirm that Belfast City Council
holds the information you have requested and has decided that this can be

Partner Agreement. Please provide full details of location, name of
preferential user, and the rate charged whether on an hourly, game, daily,

None provided at below advertised rates.
In relation to question 4:
4) Please provide a list of sports facilities and pitches provided free of
charge and the names of recipient team/group/club etc.
Information is held from 2012 onwards. This information is subject to GDPR
regulations and permission to disclose will need to be sought from any
teams/groups/clubs to whom sports facilities and pitches were provided
free of charge. In order to provide time for the relevant parties to
respond with permission to release their identity and for the relevant
information to be collated I will require an extension of time. I
anticipate being able to provide information in respect of this question
by September 28^th.
