Land Registry maintains a register of the legal owners of property within
England and Wales, there is no separate register relating to the equitable
ownership of land maintained by Land Registry.

As my colleague has stated in e-mail dated 17 May 2016.

Land Registry maintains a register of the legal owners of property within
England and Wales, there is no separate register relating to the equitable
ownership of land maintained by Land Registry.

You may wish to seek legal advice with regards this.

Can you please tell me who does hold the register to the equitable titles
to the land ?

These would be the real owners not the legal title holders.
