Please provide me with a true to scale (1:2,500) hard copy of the map accompanying the above-mentioned public path order.
I would like to receive the map in paper format sent by post. Bedford Borough Council’s Countryside and Public Access Team, who drafted the Order, have my full postal address on file.

Dear Request For Information,
Please use my full postal address held by the Countryside and Public Access Team rather than have me publish personal information here. Alternatively, I suggest you have the Countryside and Public Access Team post me the paper copy of the map rather than physically pass or hand it to you for mailing because I do not believe the map can be transmitted electronically and remain true to scale - which is why I have requested a hard copy.

Thank you for your request for information about Public Path Map, which we
received on 12 September 2024. Your request has been considered under the
Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
The Council has sent you this information in PDF format on the 11^th
September and the documents are available to view in the reception of
Borough Hall free of charge.
As per S.8 of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 ([1]The
Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (legislation.gov.uk) ), a fee
is payable before we can provide you with the information in printed form.
The fee in this case is £2.02 - please refer to the following schedule
explaining how this was calculated:
Print A4 Colour £0.80
Postage – First Class £1.22
To enable us to proceed, please use the Council’s online facility at

• Select Pay, Report, Request online
• Under Pay online, select Archives and Records
• From the drop-down, select Environmental Information Regulations
• Enter your details and the amount set above.
• In the message box add the reference number: RFI-02454 Payment Code

If we do not receive your payment by 6^th December 2024– 60 working days
from the date of this email, we will consider your request closed.
The legislation allows us 20 working days to respond to your request from
the date of its receipt. This time limit is suspended until we receive
payment. As soon as we receive your payment we will begin work on
processing your request.
If you are unhappy with the way the authority has handled your request,
you may ask for an internal review. Please email: [3][email address] and
we will arrange for an internal review of your case. Under Regulation
11(2) this needs to be done no later than 40 working days after the date
of this letter. If you are not content with the outcome of the internal
review, you have the right to apply directly to the Information
Commissioner for a decision.
