Beaver road automatic raising bollard, Ashford
Dear Kent County Council,
I am writing under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act with regards to the automatic raising bollard on Beaver Road, Ashford, between the junctions of Lower Denmark Road and South Stour Avenue (https://goo.gl/maps/MiDHFwVQtTn4fQmaA).
Can you please confirm the following;
a) The date, or approximate date, that it was last operating correctly;
b) A description of the current fault with the bollard and what plans are in place, if any, there are to repair it;
c) The cost, year to date (2021) of repairs thus far to the bollard;
d) Any documentation between KCC and any stakeholder in relation to removing the bollard permenantly and rescinding the traffic regulation order (TRO). I understand that such a proposal was made circa 2016, so for clarity I am looking for any dicussions since then.
Note that I am aware of a previous Freedom of Information Act request from January 2020 (available on the internet at https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/b...) but I do not accept that this answers my questions.
Yours faithfully,
Martin Heron
