Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
I am writing today to ask about what would happen if ITV and Channel 4 (who are also members of the European Broadcasting Union) were to pay more to the EBU than the BBC, and therefore become the highest-paying British broadcaster into the union.
Would this then mean that ITV/Channel 4 would then be given the rights to broadcast Eurovision, rather than BBC? Are any back-up plans in place if this was to happen?
