BBC Radio Streaming Technologies
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
Could you please supply a breakdown of hits (http/https requests) by month for digital radio streams (for as far back as you have the data) broken down by streaming technologies.
These technologies will include (but not necessarily be limited to) the following:
- Shoutcast (MP3)
- HLS
- DASH
Could you also please differentiate this data by requests by users either 'logged in' (signed in to BBC 'account') or not.
Please can you supply this in a machine readable format, preferably CSV/Excel - as per the recent ICO decision notice IC-90942-K0X5 - PDF is not suitable.
Yours faithfully,
Peter Brooks
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
To clarify, I am requesting data for radio streams, not podcasts, other music feeds etc.
Please still supply data if you can't differentiate between 'logged in' and not 'logged in'.
Yours faithfully,
Peter Brooks

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'BBC Radio Streaming Technologies'.
This request is simply for statistical data that you hold. You will have 'web logs' providing statistics that will be aggregated or otherwise processed and stored in a database or other storage media.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/b...
Yours faithfully,
