BBC Radio streaming services
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
In your web page 'Why am I hearing a message advising the stream I am listening to will stop working mid-2023?' (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/help/questi...) you say (in relation to the cessation of the 'Shoutcast' streaming service, and the adoption of HLS and DASH streaming services):
'We informed manufacturers and other service providers of this change in May 2022.'
Could you please supply copies of all information that has been sent to 'manufacturers and other service providers' with regard to the changes in streaming services.
This will include technical information on how 'manufacturers and other service providers' can access the new streams going forwards.
Yours faithfully,
Peter Brooks
