Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

How much did the BBC spend in financial year 2016/17 across the whole of the UK hiring external meeting/conference rooms?
How many meeting rooms are there in New Broadcasting House?
How many of these meeting rooms can be booked by all staff?
How many of these meeting rooms can only be booked by certain individuals or groups?
How many meeting rooms are permanently occupied by or reserved for the exclusive use of senior executives?
How much has been spent in the last financial year outfitting or creating new Broadcasting House "meeting rooms" for use as private offices?

Yours faithfully,

S Craig

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'BBC Meeting Room Hire 2016/17'.

The BBC refused to state how much it spent in financial year 2016/17 hiring external meeting/conference rooms on the grounds that it does not hold a central register.

I did not ask if there was a central register. I asked how much was spent.

I believe the BBC does hold the information on how much it spent because it provided this information last year in RFI20161109 when it spent £438,633 in 2015/16.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/b...

Yours faithfully,

S Craig
