BBC Licence Fee Unit activity

The request was refused by British Broadcasting Corporation.

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

From BBC News website:

' "In a letter to Capita's CEO, Andy Parker, he (BBC DG Tony Hall) said: "Public trust is the cornerstone of the licence fee system.

"It is clear that, in this instance, Capita has fallen short of the standards the BBC has a right to expect on behalf of the British public."

The BBC added that it expected licence fee officers to "behave in a courteous, professional manner and abide by a published code of conduct". '

This is a freedom of information request lodged under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for full and detailed disclosure and publication of information about exactly what actions the BBC Licence Fee Unit have actually done since the awarding of BBC TV licence administration and enforcement contract to Capita to police, report, prevent or correct:

"It is clear, . . . . , Capita has fallen short of the standards the BBC has a right to expect on behalf of the British public."

Yours faithfully,

Mr I Hillas
