BBC funding on EWR Route E

“Cllr. Walker noted that improvements to Bedford Midland, including a multi storey car park and extended platforms, would be funded by Bedford BC thus reducing the cost of the northern routes. ”

Please provide, in relation to each or all of "improvements to Bedford Midland station", "multi storey car park" and "extended platforms";

• confirmation that BBC have offered to fund any part or all of the above
• projected cost figures from BBC for each of the above
• the methodology as to how BBC arrived at these figures
• any third-party (companies outside of BBC) involvement in calculating the projected figures
• any further proposals for funding from BBC (for example the proposed multi storey car park at Bedford South hospital) for any part of Route E (please provide projected figures also)

I can confirm Bedford Borough Council have no plans to fund "improvements
to Bedford Midland station", a "multi storey car park" or "extended
platforms
