Baytree Lane Bridge Works
Dear Network Rail Limited,
I previously wrote to you regarding works that had been carried out on a bridge on Baytree Lane, Manchester. During this work bird netting had been installed resulting in the deaths of numerous birds until you removed the netting due to the continued issues.
This can be found at
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/b...
The bridge has undergone the same work again leaving a number of dead birds trapped. This request only relates to the second time.
Please can you tell me
1) When the metal caging was fitted,
2) The contractors responsible for fitting it if not yourselves,
3) Control measures put in place regarding the issues of the first attempt,
4) The number of birds removed from the area being caged in prior to the work commencing,
5) The job title of the person who signed the work off as complete with birds still being trapped behind, aswell as the time and date,
6) All photographs of the area taken as part of before/during/after the works,
Yours faithfully,
James Boden
