Bat colony in the old college building
Dear Swindon Borough Council,
Regarding the recent delays to the demolition of the old college buildings on Victoria Road and Regent Circus, Planning Application S/10/0846, I understand from press articles that this delay is due to a colony of Bats taking residents in the old building.
Please can you supply the following information.
1. On what date was it first reported to the Swindon Borough Council (SBC) Planning department that there was a bat colony in the old college buildings?
2. On what date did SBC or the Developer engage the services of a specialist advisor / consultant regarding the bat colony.
3. Who are the specialist advisor / consultants contracted to supply a report to Swindon Borough Council Panning department?
4. On what date was the results of this report submitted to Swindon Borough?
5. What was the advice of the specialist advisor / consultant within the report.
6. If the report has not yet been submitted, what date is it expected?
Yours faithfully,
Christopher Watts
