Base Line Safety Case

James Jones made this Freedom of Information request to Ministry of Defence

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Ministry of Defence,

Haddon Cave points out in the Nimrod Review that all IPTs were required to issue a risk based Safety Case Report for their respective platforms by 1st April 2004 and with it a risk classification based on BP 1201. Could I have a copy of the Tornado safety case baseline report relating to mid-air collision?

Yours faithfully

James Jones

Dear DES Sec-FOI (MULTIUSER),

Many thanks for your reply, but I think there has been some misunderstanding as the document (2 pages) tells me nothing about the safety case for Tornado mid air collision.

In order to avoid any futher misunderstanding please forward me the complete Safety Case Summary paper for Tornado (175 pages)

Yours sincerely,

James Jones
