Barnet & Potters Bar bus links

Transport for London did not have the information requested.

Dear Transport for London,

The recent events of the restructuring on the 84 commercial bus route will no longer take on the Potters Bar to Barnet routings. It's understood TFL are in discussions with Hertfordshire to possibly replace the Potters Bar to Barnet routings.

Please provide the list of options that are in consideration to replace the Potters Bar to routings from Barnet.

Yours faithfully,

Sean Cirillo

Dear Mr Cirillo

TfL Ref: 2662-2122

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 18
February 2022 asking for information about Barnet & Potters Bar bus links.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Freedom of Information Act and our information access policy.   You
asked: The recent events of the restructuring on the 84 commercial bus
route will no longer take on the Potters Bar to Barnet routings. It's
understood TFL are in discussions with Hertfordshire to possibly replace
the Potters Bar to Barnet routings.  Please provide the list of options
that are in consideration to replace the Potters Bar to routings from
Barnet.

We do not hold the information you have requested although we have been in
discussions with Hertfordshire County Council since we were informed that
the current operator would no longer be running the route 84 from St
Albans through to Potters Bar and New Barnet from April. There has been no
decision taken on if we would run a bus service to replace the 84 as yet.
We continue to discuss what the most appropriate option is for the Potters
Bar – Barnet section of the route, which whilst predominantly in
Hertfordshire, does also serve parts of London.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to
appeal.

Yours sincerely
