We are writing in respect of your application for the release of information held by the Service,
which we received on 8 August 2023. We can confirm that we have now completed our search
for the information requested.
You asked:
How many times were you called out for bariatric assists / bariatric incident in 2019, 2020,
2021, 2022 and 2023 (broken down by year, and, if possible, by month)
Our answer:
We can confirm we hold the information requested, please find it below. For your awareness,
the data is from 1 January 2019 to 13 August 2023, which was the date of the search.
Where there have been less than five incidents in any given month, we are refusing to provide
this data as per Section 40 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This is because it would
enable the identification of individuals which would be unfair, within the meaning of the UK
GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, to do in response to your request. Where this is the
case, this is shown as < 5.
