Dear East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust,
I am seeking the following information, with regards to Band 2 flexible workers filling shifts at ESNEFT with NHS Professionals:
1. What is the base/day hourly pay rate for Band 2 NHSP flexible workers?
2. What is the night/Saturday hourly pay rate for Band 2 NHSP flexible workers?
3. What is the Sunday/Bank Holiday hourly pay rate for Band 2 NHSP flexible workers?
4. Does the NHS Terms and Conditions of Service Handbook apply to Band 2 NHSP flexible workers who fill shifts at the trust?
5. What is the rate of the unsocial hours payment applied to the night/Saturday pay rate for Band 2 NHSP flexible workers?
6. What is the rate of the unsocial hours payment applied to the Sunday/Bank Holiday pay rate for Band 2 NHSP flexible workers?
7. Who in the trust is responsible for determining the rates of unsocial hours payments for Band 2 NHSP flexible workers?

I am writing to request an internal review of East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust's handling of my FOI request 'Band 2 NHSP flexible worker hourly pay rates and unsocial hours payments'.
I am confident that the Trust hold at least some, if not all, of the information I have requested.
I have contacted your local Trust services team at NHS Professionals; they informed me that "NHSP do not set the pay rates" and "The Trusts set their bank pay rates".
Please note that I prefaced my requests by specifying they were pertaining only to shifts filled at ESNEFT with NHS Professionals. I understand that different Trusts may set different bank pay rates, which is why I specified that my requests were for shifts filled at ESNEFT.
I believe that my communication with NHS Professionals strongly indicates that the Trust holds at least some, if not all, of the information I have requested.
Furthermore, it would be hard to acknowledge that a Trust does not know the hourly rates it has communicated to NHS Professionals and pays to flexible workers registered with the Trust for filling its bank shifts.
Consequently, I am contesting your conclusion that "the Trust do not hold the information requested".
