Dear Derbyshire County Council,
On 26 September 2013, DCC made an Order, closing the Byway Open to All Traffic known as Bamford Clough to all users "to facilitate public safety due to exposed cables"; this Order has been renewed several times since and apparently remains in force today, with no projected end-date being evident.
This FOI request is for copies of reports and letters (including emails) relating to the current closure and proposals or plans for repair of this Byway, including both legal and technical issues, and any documents that identify "barriers to progress" for potential repairs that will allow the route to re-open. Please include details of any current S.56 (out of repair) notice which applies to the Byway.
GLASS has an interest in these matters as it wishes to explore how we or our members may assist the Authority in restoring and reopening this Byway.
Yours faithfully,
C E Mitchell
GLASS Derbyshire Area Rep.

Dear Access 2 Info (Commissioning Communities and Policy),

This response is now severely overdue, despite my agreement to a previous extension this has now been exceeded. Please provide the requested details as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely,

C Mitchell

Dear Derbyshire County Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Derbyshire County Council's handling of my FOI request 'Bamford Clough Byway'.

I have previously agreed to an extension of time for the authority to provide the information, but nothing has been forthcoming, and even the extension deadline is long overdue. The information requested is not complex and should be easily available from the council's current files, and would enable user groups to offer volunteer support to assist the reopening of a popular right of way.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/b...

Yours faithfully,

C Mitchell
