Badgers

The request was successful.

Dear Scottish Forestry,

How many badger site visits had the organisation done in five years?

Has any operation disturbed a sett?

Has there been any formal steps made to move badgers?

Yours faithfully,

John Brown

Scottish Forestry

Dear Mr Brown

Thank you for your e-mail of 21 January 2020 making a request for information regarding badger sites.

As you may be aware the 1st April 2019 saw new organisational arrangements come into being, with the establishment of two new Scottish Government Executive Agencies.

Scottish Forestry, which replaced Forestry Commission Scotland, is the Scottish Government agency responsible for forestry policy, support and regulation.

Forestry and Land Scotland is an executive agency of the Scottish Government and it looks after Scotland's national forests and lands (formally referred to as the national forest estate).

To try and identify who should handle your FoI request can you confirm if your request relates to the work of Scottish Forestry or you intended it for Forestry and Land Scotland.

Many thanks

John
