Badger cull zones
Dear Natural England,
I require OS Maps outlining all cull zones and their boundaries for the 2020 cull and all new proposed zones for 2021.
How many licenses will you be granting for the 2021 cull?
What scientific evidence do you use to justify granting cull licenses?
On what basis do you give out cull Licenses? Do farmers have to prove there is a TB problem before you grant licenses? If so what proof do you require?
Yours faithfully,
Elizabeth Thirsk

Dear Natural England,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Natural England's handling of my FOI request 'Badger cull zones'.
The Badger cull is insufficiently monitored by yourselves, and that is an understatement, we might as well say its not monitored at all if all you can't even do 0.5 %. If a policy and monitoring cannot be carried out proplery it should not be allowed.
Where is the proof the killers are keeping within the legal zones? Last year the wildlife Trust on film had a cage on thier fence line to catch and kill badgers from withing the nature reserve who did not give permission. Is that legal? Either way that is completely immoral so how do you know what the killers are up to daily?
You cannot properly conduct monitoring compliance, is that a breach? Animal welfare is not taken into account and firearms used are insufficient.

Dear Ms Thirsk
Thank you for your message.
I'm afraid that we cannot accept this message as an internal review request.
This is due to questions being asked being about the way the best practice guidance is written and the way the policy has been implemented rather than for information we would hold.
Therefore, I would suggest you make a complaint. You can do this by completing the form on the page https://www.gov.uk/government/organisati...
Thanks
Darren

Dear Natural England,

I am writing to request an internal review of Natural England's handling of my FOI request 'Badger cull zones'.
As previously stated, the monitoring is appalling. You hold this information and I am entitled to know on which land it would be illegal to take and kill badgers. A complaint cannot solve an information issue, hense why I have asked for the information. Please provide me with all cull zone boundaries, it is of public interest that Badgers are not killed out of cull zones.
