Award on tender opportunity

The request was successful.

Dear FOI Team,

I would be most grateful if you would provide me, under the Freedom of Information Act, details in respect to the contract below.

The Supply of Disabled Adaptations and Associated Minor Works:
https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov....

Did this tender ever proceed to award? if so, who were the awarded contractors?

If not, where does Oxford Direct services procure these types of work?

Thank you for your help.

Yours sincerely

Freedom Of Information, Oxford City Council

Dear Martin Wardle,

Re: Freedom of Information Request, Oxford City Council – Reference: 11526

Further to your email below, I can respond to your Freedom of Information Act 2000 request received on 12th October 2022 as follows:

Your Request:

I would be most grateful if you would provide me, under the Freedom of Information Act, details in respect to the contract below.

The Supply of Disabled Adaptations and Associated Minor Works:
https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov....

Did this tender ever proceed to award? if so, who were the awarded contractors?

If not, where does Oxford Direct services procure these types of work?

Our Response:

Did this tender ever proceed to award? if so, who were the awarded contractors?

The ODS Contract Register, which is updated regularly, does not list a contractor for this tender, and therefore it has not proceeded to award. The Contract Register can be viewed online here:

https://www.odsgroup.co.uk/Register-of-C...

If not, where does Oxford Direct services procure these types of work?

Please see attached excerpt from the Contracts Register, showing which suppliers are currently providing these types of work for ODS.

PLEASE NOTE: The ODS Contracts Register does not only record formal contracts. Formal contracts, such as the one described in the tender document you referred to in your request, are individually negotiated arrangements with third party suppliers that require a bespoke set of terms and conditions, the details of which are placed on the ODS Contracts Register. However, as well as these formal contracts, under the Local Government Transparency Code 2015, public sector organisations are required to publish all transactions with organisations with a value over £5,000, which are also recorded in the ODS Contracts Register.

If you disagree with any part of the response to your request, you are entitled to ask the Council for an internal review of the decision(s) made.  You may do this by writing to the Monitoring Officer, by either email – [email address] – or by post to Monitoring Officer, Oxford City Council, St Aldate’s Chambers, St Aldate’s, Oxford, OX1 1DS.  After the result of the internal review, if you remain dissatisfied, you may ask the Information Commissioner to intervene on your behalf.  You may do this by writing to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

Yours sincerely,

Freedom of Information Officer
