Dear Birmingham City Council,

Please provide the following information:

How many times did Birmingham city council invite tenders in respect of Kings Heath Park in total ?

1. Please provide full details of all tender processes with:

Date tender was first advertised
Timeline for submission in each instance
Locations tender advertised eg www.finditinbirmingham and any other online locations/local newspapers/ Hyperlocal sites

2. Copies/ record of all communication from Birmingham city council to the current proprietors, informing them of the pending tender processes : Phone calls/ emails/letters/personal visits

3. Please also state clearly the exact time lapse on each occasion between the family being informed of each tender and the date for document submission.

4.Please clarify the number of tenders made on each occasion, for
Kings Heath tearooms in the following format

Tender 1 date submissions due /number of submissions
Tender 2 " "
And repeat for each tender occasion

5 Please clarify the reason(s) why the first tender process was aborted

6. Please explain why the council did not allow the current proprietors to proceed with the contract, when they were the sole party in the first tender process

7 Please explain why the council was unwilling to divulge the fact the Graycourt catering had declined the contract to the current proprietors/ the press.

8 Please explain why Birmingham city council did not inform the current proprietors of the next steps BCC were due to take?

9 Please confirm that under European Law Birmingham city council are required to confirm the identity of any other new proprietors/ employers, to facilitate the transfer of willing employees.

10 Please confirm whether Greycoat Catering Ltd. were awarded the contract on the 29th October, then informed the City Council in November that they did not want the contract with dates.

11 Please confirm how many bids there were in the tendering process which lead to Graycoat Catering Limited being awarded the contract in October 2012.

12 Please advise of any subsequent published/verbal invitations to tender, since Graycoat withdrew.

13 Does the council intend to dispose of/sell this building ?

14 Would Birmingham city council give consideration to a community asset transfer, in principle of this building ?

15 Please list all organisations invited ( informally) to tender for KH Tea rooms
