Average waiting times for colonoscopy investigations across the UK
To request and FOI from all Trusts, Health boards & equivalents across the UK:
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on behalf of Crohn's & Colitis UK to request the following information:
To know the average wait time for colonoscopy investigations (in weeks) in the year 2022 for patients on a non-urgent pathway (i.e. people not on the suspected cancer pathway).
Please could this information be provided in an Excel spreadsheet.
If it is not possible to provide this information due to exceeding the cost of compliance limits, I would be grateful if you could advise how this request could be refined.

To know the average wait time for colonoscopy investigations (in weeks) in

The average waiting time in weeks for colonoscopies during 2022 for
routine, un-planned patients was 6.6 weeks
This is also attached in an excel sheet as requested.
As we have provided the information that we do hold your request is now
