Dear Hillingdon Borough Council,

I would like you to provide stats on the average wait times for an Adult Social Work needs assessment over the last 3 years. If possible please break it down by month. If the above breaches the maximum aloud to spend (Section 12 of the FOIA) on a request please prioritise the last year.

I expect a response within 20 working Days.

Yours faithfully,

Euan McCutcheon

Dear Euan McCutcheon

I am writing in response to your request for information below.

As I understand it you are seeking to know:

Please provide stats on the average wait times for an Adult
Social Work needs assessment over the last 3 years. If possible please
break it down by month. If the above breaches the maximum aloud to spend
(Section 12 of the FOIA) on a request please prioritise the last year.

S12 of the FOIA states that a Public Authority is not obliged to respond
to a request for information under S1 of the FOIA where it estimates that
the cost of doing so would 'exceed the appropriate limit'.  The
'appropriate limit', as laid down in the Freedom of Information and Data
Protection (Fees and Appropriate Limit) Regulations 2004 (the
'Regulations'), is £450 which equates to 18 hours work.

If you have any queries regarding this matter please do not hesitate to
contact me.

If you wish to request an internal review of our response you should
write, within 2 months, to:

Office Managing Partner, Legal Services, Civic Centre, High St, Uxbridge,
UB8 1UW (or via email to [1][Hillingdon Borough Council request email] marked for the attention
of the Office Managing Partner).

Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have
the right to apply to the Information Commissioner for a decision. The
Information Commissioner can be contacted at: Information Commissioner’s
Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

We are unable to supply any answers requested for this question.
This is due to the way data is recorded on our system as there is not a
direct link between a contact being created and what assessments are
completed because of it.
To answer this would require large amounts of manual checking which would
push this FOI request beyond the time permitted for an FOI request -
Section 12

Dear Hillingdon Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Hillingdon Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Average wait times for Adult Social Work Needs Assessments'.

I do not agree with the section 12 assessment.

Yours faithfully,

EUan McCutcheon
