Request for Information

I am writing to confirm that we have now completed our search for the
information you requested on 2020-06-15 in relation to Covid-19 cost.

A copy of the information is below:

I would like to know the average (mean, median & SD) financial cost of
treating a "standard" COVID-19 patient (a) in a general bed/ward and (b)
in critical care.

With a relatively small number of COVID patients in the year 2019-20 their
costs are the same as a usual hospital stay; information is not yet
available for April 2020 onwards.

The information supplied to you continues to be protected by the
Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. You are free to use it for your
own purposes, including any non-commercial research you are doing and for
the purposes of news reporting. 

If you wish to discuss any of the above, please contact me, quoting the
