Average time to promotion
Dear Police Scotland,
Between 2015 to 2017 Peter Davies received a FOI response that detailed the average length of service for promotion to Sergeant. Can you reproduce this original FOI?
and
Can you please provide the average length of service for promotion from Constable to Sergeant, Sergeant to Inspector, and Inspector to Chief Inspector from 2013 to date. By year if possible?

Thank you for your recent FOI request. Before we can respond to your request it is necessary to seek some clarification. Can you advise if you wish the average length of time between ranks i.e. from Constable to Sergeant, then from Sergeant to Inspector or do you wish the average length to revert back to their joining date, i.e. their constable post.
