Average Council Social Rents at the Love Lane estate
Dear Haringey Borough Council,
Please give the numbers of council rented properties of each bedroom size (bedsit, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 bed, etc.) at the Love Lane estate.
Please provide the Current mean average Council Social Rent being charged for properties of each bedroom size (bedsit, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 bed, etc.), at the Love Lane estate.
Note: There is no need to separate secure tenants and temporary tenancies here. All together please, as long as they are paying Council Social Rent.
Yours faithfully,
Paul Burnham

Dear Paul Burnham,
LBH/11363021: Freedom of Information Request
I am writing further to your email of 27 July 2021.
The information you have asked for is as follows:
o Provide information on social rents and beds at Love Lane estate
My response is set out below.
The information I have provided is in respect of secure and temporary
accommodation tenants, and also contains void dwellings. These properties
are 1 to 4 bedrooms only (i.e. no bedsits or 5 bedrooms). The current
average rents by number of bedrooms is shown in the table. However, I
cannot disclose the number of 4 bed dwellings due to the small number of
this type of dwellings, and as releasing this may potentially identify the
residents that live in these properties, which would allow the rent they
pay to be made public.
Our general approach is not to provide a number when that number is 5 or
less in order to minimise the risk of identification. I can therefore
confirm that it was less than five but cannot be more specific. It would
be a breach of the Data Protection Act to disclose the information,
therefore this information is exempt from the Freedom of Information Act
under Section 40(2).
Please note that the information provided – as requested – does not
include leasehold properties, so the number of dwellings is less than 297
(the total number of dwellings on the estate).
This information is as at 02 June 2021.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to email at
[1][email address]
If you are unhappy with how we have responded to your request, you can ask
us to conduct an Internal Review. If so, please contact the [2]Corporate
Feedback Team (please note you should do so within two months of this
response).
You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's office, which may
be able to help you. However they would normally expect the local
authority to have undertaken a complaint investigation or Internal Review
of the request before they will accept the referral.
