Average career progression.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Royal Air Force should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Seumas Halliday

Dear Royal Air Force,

Can you please provide me with the average length of time in each rank, for the trade of Aircraft Technician (Avionics).
i.e What is the average length of time served in each rank after completing technician training before promotion to the next rank; starting from SAC(T) and progressing to:
Chief Technician
Flight Sergeant
Warrant Officer

In addition can you provide the average TOTAL length of service already completed when promoted to each of the above ranks. If you cannot provide the data specifically for Avionics technicians can you do so for engineering technicians in general. Many thanks.

Yours faithfully,

Seumas Halliday
