I would be grateful if you could confirm the split between automatic and manual vehicles purchased under the Motability scheme over the last 3 years.

While I understand you aren’t specifically covered under the FOI regime, in the interests of better understanding the scheme and how it meets the needs of participants, I’d be grateful if you could provide the information requested.

Dear Mr McDowall,

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your original request. I am unable to confirm the figures over the last three years, however, I can confirm that last year, 43% of the vehicles registered on the Scheme were Automatics.

I have attached our factsheet on vehicle choice and technology which contains this figure, and context around other vehicle features and adaptations that can be beneficial.
