speedenforcementSE,

Dear Mr Gibb,

Thank you for your enquiry to CCC recorded below which has been forwarded
to me.  Your request has been handled under normal business practices and
not in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act/Environmental
Information Regulations.

Having investigated this enquiry, from the data available to me I can
advise that the location you described is on the elevated M4 section
between junctions 2 and 3 where a permanent fixed 50mph speed limit
applies, enforced using average speed cameras.  Clayponds Avenue/Lane is
close to junction 2; Transport Avenue is south of the River Brent, close
to the end of the elevated section.

If you have any queries about this response, please would you contact our
Customer Contact Centre, quoting reference number 21642859.

Yours sincerely
