Dear Scottish Government,

You have not answered any of my questions. You claim that the request triggers s.12 of the FOISA threshold. In order to ensure my request does not trigger this threshold, can you provide me with the following information:

1. A breakdown of what organisation received what amount, with an explanation as to why that amount?

2. A minute(s) of the meeting(s) which picked the said organisations?

3. Any procurement/tendering of such applications for being in the pilot?

For context, the work that is being reviewed was already happening before this money was released, yet £250k is being spent on developing a "new post diagnostic service". This is why it is important to determine why a quarter of a million pounds of publicly money was spent on current work, it is not clear as to why this is the case.

I also believe you are misinformed in your response, you claim "The Covid -19 experience has shown the capacity of the third sector to be flexible and to adapt to change and deliver high quality support." ... local authorities and HSCP have the statutory responsibility to provide post and ongoing support for autistic people - the third sector do not have such responsibility, unless procured and commissioned by these statutory services, which proves the point - that local authorities and HSCPS have overall statutory responsibility. This is why access to information about why only third sector organisations were awarded this funding needs to be explored.

Not to have at least one local authority, or HSCP involved does not demonstrate balance?

Yours faithfully,

Stephen Leighton

Dear Scottish Government,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Scottish Government's handling of my FOI request 'Autism Post diagnostic pilot'.

The Scottish Government have failed to provide me any quality assurance/procurement information/commissioning oversight into how £250,000.00 of public money was allocated.

Surely, there must be accountability as to how decisions were made on how to spend a quarter of a million pounds, there surely most have have been a meeting/minutes of how this decision was reached, and access to this information provided?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/a...
