Autism Act duty to require HSC Trusts to provide data on prevalence of autism

The request was successful.

Section 2 subsections 3 and 4 of the Autism Act 2011 require that your Department must request all HSC Trusts to provide data on the prevalence of autism in their areas so that you can publish and update the autism strategy and that the Trusts must provide this information.

1. What format has the DHSSPS established for requesting and receiving this information from each of the Trusts?

2. How often does the DHSSPS require Trusts to provide this data?

3. Is the data received regularly published on the DHSSPS web site and, if so, what is the link to it?

4. If the data is not currently published, please provide me with the most recent data submitted by each HSC Trust.

Yours faithfully,

Caroline Kelly on behalf of
Southwest Carers Forum
