Authorisation from the Department of Transport for the use of a Temporary Parking Suspension sign
Dear Reading Borough Council,
As you are likely aware, all traffic signage must have authorisation from the Department of Transport where it is not prescribed by said department, for it to be considered a Sect 64/65 RTRA 1984 traffic sign. This includes the usage of a Temporary Parking Suspension signs. I have looked for this authorisation but could not find it here: http://www.dft.gov.uk/traffic-auths/?sea...
Please could you provide me with a copy of your written and signed authorisation to use Temporary Parking Suspension signs within the Reading area?
Yours faithfully,
Laurence
Dear Reading Borough Council,
On the 10th July I sent through a FOI request regarding a copy of your authorisation from the Department of Transport to use your Temporary Parking Suspension signage.
I've not received any acknowledgement of receipt, so I just wanted to check that it has been received and that it's on your list to reply by August 9th to meet the standard 20 day allowance?
Thanks and best.
Dear Laurence
I confirm that we have received your FOI request and you should receive a
response by 9th August.
Kind regards
Sue Roddy
