Attacks on Driving Examiners
Dear Driving Standards Agency,
I would be grateful if you could provide the following information:
1. The current number of driving examiners (at all levels) employed
2. The number of reported verbal attacks on examiners for each year that you have figures (or as far back as 2000 at most)
3. The number of reported physical attacks on examiners, as above
4. Whether examiners are provided with any training (either when starting or as continuing development) to deal with a)verbal or b)physical attacks or abuse.
Your assistance in this matter is appreciated.
Yours faithfully,
Graham Mulholland.
