Atos Independent Tier Members - Associations

The request was partially successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

In other FoI responses you have said in relation to the Atos Independent Tier:

"Members of the IT do not work on the Atos Healthcare contract and have no association with any of the interested parties i.e. the Customer, Atos Healthcare or Welfare Groups."

1) Do they have any association with DWP?
2) Do they have any association with any other Government Department?

Yours faithfully,

J Newman

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Atos Independent Tier Members - Associations'.

You have confirmed elsewhere that DWP approves the suitabilty and qualifications of the Atos IT, but then claim that information relevant to these checks is not held, which means by Atos too (as DWP’s business partner). Please explain this obvious contradiction.

When checking suitability, is potential vested interest through the associations of the IT scrutinised in detail?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Atos Independent Tier Members - Associations'.

If this is a repeated request it was accidental. I cannot trace the previous response you have quoted (FOI 2729 -340), so can you please provide a copy if you are sure it answers BOTH of my questions here.

Notwithstanding this, I would still raise an IRR based on the long delay in responding to my request on 5th February – over 4 months.
