Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
Thank you for your reply, DATE: 17 July 2019 , YOUR REF: FO12019/23755 , to my letter of 25 June 2019. You stated that "There is a new award review letter in development...... Eligible claimants will receive this letter which will explain that their PIP award is now an ongoing award with a 10-year light touch review........"
First, is that letter now being sent out to those eligible claimants already on PIP? And what does it say exactly?
Second, do you intend to do a blanket mail-shot coverage at the same time ,of all eligible claimants?Or if not, at what exact point in time of their existing award, will the claimants receive their letter?
As an example, let us take a 3 year award that commenced on 25 April 2018 and is due to end on 21 February 2021. At what time, do you anticipate such a claimant could expect to receive their letter notifying them of the change to an on-going award with a 10-year light touch review?
Finally, what form will that review take?
Thank you very much indeed for your kind assistance.
