At my Jobcentre I was told my data may heve been lost
Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
today, a few hours ago, I was told at my Jobcentre in Marylebone, Westminster, has my data may have been lost and therefore I was asked by the Stratford Benefit Centre to complete a new JSA1 10/14 Form and to give it to my holiday-cover jobcentre advisor.
I made a claim at the beginning of April 2017, had the initial interview at Marylebone Jobcentre within 10 working day and received my Jobseeker's Agreement (contract). I am required to attend the jobcentre regularly and to sign on but my advisor Graham told me I cannot be paid because my claim has 'not been built' yet.
Today I was told that the data for the claim I got the Jobseeker's Agreement for has maybe been lost.
When I asked the advisor Simon if I can use the phone to get an answer WHY, I was told the Stratford Benefit Centre has requested the resubmission of the New-Claim-Form(JSA1).
He said that I cannot visit or email this Stratford Benefit Centre which is supposed to be in London but has the mailing address in Wolverhampton.
I do not want to make an UNNESSESSARY new claim and also need to know IF and WHY my data from my claim has been lost.
Therefore, I am making this Freedom-of-Information-request and ask you for:
1) The name of the person who has ordered me to make a new claim
2) The reason(s) why I need to make a new claim while a claim already exists
Please, contact me by email only: [email address]
Yours faithfully,
Ms Annegret Seebass
