Dear Magdalene College, Cambridge,

Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to ask for the at Interview assessments for Mathematics for the last 5 admissions cycles.

Yours faithfully,

s t lin

Dear Magdalene College, Cambridge,

Upon further review on the website, it appears that the assessment is now prior to interview. This shouldn't change the request as I believe the assessments for previous admissions cycles are at interview. If there is a specimen document for the prior to interview assessment would be much appreciated.

Yours faithfully,

s t lin

Dear Magdalene College, Cambridge,

Kathryn Gee,

Dear S T Lin

I refer to your recent Freedom of Information Requests regarding the
College admissions test for Maths. The College does not release past
papers in order to ensure no candidate has a conferred advantage. An
element of the assessment is how candidates respond to different types of
questions so that ability can be assessed fairly.

You may like to note that the admissions process for Mathematics is
described on the College website at
Candidates are required to take a test set by the College at interview
(not before), and then STEP if they are subsequently given an offer.

Kind regards,

On behalf of the Freedom of Information Officer
