Dear Lennan

For a request to be valid, the requester must provide enough of their real name to give anyone reading that request a reasonable indication of their identity.

As advised by the ICO, "Any variation of the requester's title or first name combined with their surname (e.g. Mr Smith or John Smith) will be sufficient to meet this requirement. However, a first name or surname provided in isolation, or a set of initials, will not."

Therefore, in order for us to treat your request under the terms of the FOI Act, please supply your name as outlined above. After receiving your reply, your request will be considered and you will receive a response within the statutory timescale of 20 working days, as defined by the Act, subject to the application of any statutory exemptions. have been made for football related public disorder and match-day
incidents at Villa Park in Premier League fixtures?

Response

1. No information held - We do not record the ‘average number of officers’
assigned to Europa Conference League home matches.

2. No information held – We do not record the ‘average number of officers’
assigned to Premier League home matches.

3. 50 arrests - This included 45 for Legia Warsaw disorder.

4. 7 arrests

5. This will vary across each season due to fixtures. However, in the

club contributed £495,361.68. This is in accordance with guidelines from
the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) ‘National Policing Guidelines
on Charging for Police Services’.

Every effort is made to ensure that the figures presented are accurate and
complete. However, it is important to note that these data have been
extracted from a number of data sources used by forces for police
purposes. The detail collected to respond specifically to your request is
subject to the inaccuracies inherent in any large scale recording system.
As a consequence, care should be taken to ensure data collection processes
and their inevitable limitations are taken into account when interpreting
those data.

The figures provided therefore are our best interpretation of relevance of
data to your request, but you should be aware that the collation of
figures for ad hoc requests may have limitations and this should be taken
into account when those data are used.

As recommended as good practice by the Information Commissioner’s Office a
version of this response may be published on the West Midlands Police
website.
