Dear Customer
We’re writing to provide you with an update on the work to move existing
utilities, which is required ahead of us starting our improvements on the
A31 at Ringwood.
As previously advised, there’s a BT cable within the existing road bridge
that needs to be moved. BT will be working on the westbound A31 between
Ringwood and Verwood to move this cable next week. To reduce traffic
disruption, they’ll be working overnight between 8.00pm and 6.00am from
Monday 14 June 2021 for five nights. To keep everyone safe during these
works, there will be temporary lane or road closures in place overnight on
the A31.
Bournemouth Water will start laying their pipe in Mansfield Road, near the
Furlong car park from Monday 14 June 2021. For more information about the
work, you can visit Bournemouth Water’s [1]dedicated project webpage.
SSE is also progressing with its work to move its electricity cable and
they have recently been working in Market Place, between West Street and
the church. To minimise disruption, these works are being completed
alongside the improvements in West Street. More information can be found
on [2]Hampshire County Council’s website.
For more information about our scheme to improve the A31, please
visit our [3]webpage.
If you would like to be added to our distribution list please
email [4][email address] asking to be added. You
can ask to be removed at any time.
Kind regards
Daniel Kittredge
