Dear Mr Willis

I refer to your below request for information. The Council requires some clarification before it can proceed. You have stated in your email that you wish to know how many traffic wardens are currently employed by Derby Council. Please can you clarify whether you require information on traffic wardens employed to work in the city of Derby, in which case you will need to contact Derby City Council. Please see attached document with their contact details. Alternatively, do you require information on traffic wardens employed in other areas within the county of Derbyshire, which Derbyshire County Council would have responsibility for?

The Council looks forward to receiving your detailed clarification before it is able to proceed further. Please note that the Council is unable to deal with your request until this clarification is received.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any queries.

Yours sincerely,

John McElvaney, Director of Legal Services
Derbyshire County Council.

Dear Tucker,Rebekah (Environmental Services),

Thank you for your reply. Could I please confirm this in relation to my original request?

My query was concerning traffic wardens. Should I accept Civil Parking Enforcement to mean the same or similar? And that we are referring to a total of 31 individuals associated with traffic warden tasks?

Yours sincerely,

Rob Willis

Tucker,Rebekah (Environmental Services), Derbyshire County Council

Many Thanks
