Assaults against TV Licensing field staff

The request was partially successful.

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

There have been a number of stories in the media about increasing numbers of assaults upon TV Licensing staff. At the same time, I don't there has ever been a news story about someone being prosecuted for such an assault.

Please can you tell me for each of the years, 2013, 2014 and 2015, how many assault incidents involving TV Licensing field staff were reported to TV Licensing management. Where the outcome of those incidents is known, please provide summary figures (of the outcome). e.g. whether the assault was serious or not, whether the Police were involved, whether there was a prosecution or not.

Yours faithfully,

Mr. M. Whitfield

So how many complaints did TV Licensing receive that its goons physically assaulted members of the public?
I think the figures would be enlightening. They certainly wouldn't be zero, if the BBC responded honestly.
