Dear Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust,

In your response to this request, please give numbers, gender and age group. In the last two years:

How many requests have been made for assessment of possible autism or Asperger diagnosis?

Of those who present for assessment, how many go on to get a clear diagnosis of autsim or high functioning autism or Asperger's Syndrome? Please break down numbers.

If they do not get a clear autism related diagnosis, or Asperger diagnosis, what other diagnoses or outcomes do they get?

How are these other diagnoses or outcomes described?

How many people are turned away (a) before initial assessment and (b) after assessment but before diagnosis?

How long does it take for people to get to diagnosis from the time they first get in touch with you.

Yours faithfully,
Mrs S P McCann
