Dear Louis Smith,

TfL Ref: EIR-2248-2223

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 6^th
December 2022 asking for the asbestos survey report for Southwark
Underground station.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access
policy.

TfL does not hold the information you have requested. This is because
Southwark station was opened in 1999 to serve the Jubilee line extension.
As a result, the materials that were used in the construction of this
station did not include asbestos so TfL do not possess an asbestos survey
report because it is not required for this station.

If this is not the information you are looking for please do not hesitate
to contact me.

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to
appeal as well as information on copyright and what to do if you would
like to re-use any of the information we have disclosed.

Yours sincerely,

David Wells
