Dear Mr Smith

TfL Ref: 0829-2122

Thank you for your request received by Transport for London (TfL) on 26
July 2021 asking for information about the asbestos survey for North
Greenwich tube station.

Your request has been considered in accordance with the requirements of
the Environmental Information Regulations and our information access
policy.

We do not hold the information you have requested. This is because North
Greenwich station was newly constructed to serve the Jubilee line
extension between Green Park and Stratford. It was constructed in the
1990’s and opened in May 1999. As a result, the materials that were used
in the construction of this station did not include asbestos so TfL do not
possess an asbestos survey report because it is not required.

We have published a response to a previous request on our website which
may be of interest to you:

Please see the attached information sheet for details of your right to
appeal.

Yours sincerely
