Asbestos

[Name Removed] made this Freedom of Information request to Tower Hamlets Borough Council This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Tower Hamlets Borough Council,

I would ideally like to know whether the office block “One Canada Square” contains asbestos. As of security reasons, I’m aware not much can be shown, though the factor of awareness is ideal for future work.

Similarly related, I would like to know how the borough deals with asbestos - the removal/abatement process and how it is disposed of.

Yours faithfully,
