AS grades VS predicted grades VS % Offers made for Undergraduate Physics
Dear University of Manchester,
I would like to know the average percentage of applicants who got an offer with various predicted grades (ranging from A*A*A* to DDD) and also the average percentage of applicants who received an offer with various combinations of AS grades ( ranging between AAA to DDD). This is for those who applied for undergraduate physics over the last 5 years.
e.g. Predicted grade: A*AB= average of 70% of applicants received an offer over the last 5 years
Yours faithfully,
A. T. Bagdziunas

Dear Adolis,
Thank you for your request for information received by The University of
Manchester on 31 October 2019 which was as follows:
I would like to know the average percentage of applicants who got an offer
with various predicted grades (ranging from A*A*A* to DDD) and also the
average percentage of applicants who received an offer with various
combinations of AS grades ( ranging between AAA to DDD). This is for those
who applied for undergraduate physics over the last 5 years.
e.g. Predicted grade: A*AB= average of 70% of applicants received an
offer over the last 5 years
The University has now considered your request and the information you
requested can be found below.
We can confirm that 100% of our applicants predicted A Level grades of
A*A*A* - AAA were made an offer (which would be A*A*A – A*AA – to include
Physics and Maths). We do not consider AS Levels (or combinations of) in
our offer making = 0%.
I trust this information is of use to you.
Kind regards
Sharon
