Dear Shannon Ahmed
Thank you for your enquiry.
“What is the highest cumulative mark (out of 100) that has been achieved in CIE As level and CIE A
level?”
“What is the highest cumulative mark( out of 100) that has been achieved in CIE As level German
language (8683) and the highest cumulative mark that has been achieved in Cambridge A level
German (9717)”
I can confirm that we do hold information as to the highest mark/s for Cambridge International
AS Level German Language (8683), A Level German (9717) and Economics (9708). However,
it is possible that this information could be linked to an identifiable individual or provide
information that either confirms or denies whether a particular student achieved a certain level
of award. As such, releasing this data could constitute a breach of data protection rules and we
are therefore withholding this information on those grounds.
“Please note that with highest mark I mean the cumulative mark (out of 100) that I would have to tie
or break in order to achieve the 'top of the world' award for a particular subject at the outstanding
Cambridge learner awards.”
Please be aware that the top standard mark in any one series is no indication of the mark
required to receive an Outstanding Learner Award in another series.
